CONVERSATION BETWEEN JUAN J. AGIUS AND RAÚL MARROQUÍN

Two guests, personally and professionally close to the life and work of Ulises Carrión, will share with the public impressions about the legacy of this artist, his influence and current affairs.

Juan J. Agius (Ciudad Real, Spain, 1944)
Lives and works in Geneva, Switzerland. He has been an art student in Paris, gallery owner and publisher of artist books in Amsterdam and a bookseller specializing in the latest avant-gardes in Geneva.

At the moment he is in charge of the preservation and publication of the personal documents of Ulises Carrión, being the legal owner of his copyrights.

Raúl Marroquín (Bogotá, Colombia, 1947)
Media artist specialized in video since 1968. He is considered one of the pioneers of video art in Europe. His work forms part of a large number of public and private collections, such as Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam; Center Pompidou, Paris; Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid; Modern Museet, Stockholm; Museum of Modern Art, New York; Saatchi Collection London; Ludwig Collection, Germany; Bonnefanten Museum Maastricht, Germany. His work has been presented in museums in Europe, America and Asia; as well as in various institutions such as ICA, London; ICC, Antwerp; Neue Galerie, Aachen / Cologne and Chicago Art Institute.
