De excepciones y milagros is a piece by artist Óscar Cueto (Mexico City, 1976) that is part of the exhibition Acciones a distancia. Cueto presents oil paintings of micro-stories told by the inhabitants of the Granada neighborhood, where the Museum Jumex is located. The artist will exchange paintings for extraordinary stories or miracles told by the museum neighbors who have resisted the gentrification process in the area. The action will be accompanied by a local hip hop band, Afromega + Ese o*, which will perform these stories.
