During the Covid-19 pandemic, Orozco made a series of diaries composed of leaf prints he collected in Tokyo, Mexico City, and Acapulco. Following a simple printing technique on Japanese notebook paper, Orozco reflects on processes such as photosynthesis, plant pigment and the light they collect. Accompanied by drawings and ink strokes that keep track of the moment they were made, these diaries show a process of observation that the artist has carried out throughout his career, and which can also be seen in his notebooks.
