Throughout his career, Orozco has also produced a variety of large-scale works, including his Observatory House on the coast of Oaxaca, the garden of the South London Gallery and, most recently, the Chapultepec urban project in Mexico City. His architectural interest is based on different moments of his travels, as in Observatory House, inspired by Janta Mantar in New Delhi, an astronomical observatory built in 1724 that Orozco visited on a trip to India.
