Taking the title of the 1946 drawing by Antonin Artaud, La revuelta de los ángeles salidos del limbo [La Révolte des anges sortis des limbes], the book dedicated to Viennese Actionism edited in Spanish by Michel Blancsubé and Lorena Moreno Vera, and published by Fundación Jumex Arte Contemporáneo, presents a review of this radical movement initiated by Otto Muehl (1925 - 2013), Hermann Nitsch (1938), Günter Brus (1938) and Rudolf Schwarzkogler (1940-1969), who, starting from a pictorial formation, decided to move it into action within the context of postwar Austria.
