Previously to the opening of RISE, the artists Bárbara Wagner and Benjamin de Burca will talk about their artistic practice in which they explore different aesthetic languages linked to popular visual culture. In addition, they will hold a conversation with the poet Randell Adjei and the curator Emelie Chhangur, moderated by Catalina Lozano. The films Terremoto Santo (2017) and Swinguerra (2019) will also be screened, the latter being the artists’ project for the Brazilian Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale.*
