TALK WITH FRANZ ERHARD WALTHER
For more than five decades, Franz Erhard Walther (Fulda, Germany, 1939) has focused on developing a language of forms and actions that can be used by the viewer, inviting him to dialogue with his/her body, time and space. Through sculptures, drawings, paintings, and objects that can be activated by the public, Walther generates situations that reconfigure the viewer’s experience, questioning the relationship we have with art, with other people and with ourselves.
