Tracey Emin’s work is based on a personal monologue. Her open and self–referential drawings, installations and textiles reveal her innermost desires or even her lived experiences. In this explicitly textual work, the artist makes a clear message in red neon letters that emulate handwriting. Emin is part of the generation of Young British Artists (known as YBAs) who shocked the local and international scene with their unabashed take on the art world.
