A common aspect of Orozco’s work is that it actively responds to the location in which it is made. During his stay in Rotterdam, a mainly cycling city, Orozco created an assemblage of bicycles. Starting with four bicycles heading in every possible direction, the artist reflects on conditions of mobility and modes of transportation.
