Orozco is attracted by the boomerang because it generates an orbit when thrown and returns to its initial place. This interest in sports and flight is reflected in Inner Cuts, a series of experiments in cutting boomerang shapes out of wood. The artist continues, in different formats and through new works, his research on movement and circularity in game systems.
