Independent Networks analyzes a series of artistic projects dealing with television intervention and the creation of alternative means of communication in detail. Tracing a history that spans from the first experiments with television like the Guerrilla productions of the Videofreex, TVTV and Raindance, to the online transmissions of CAC TV and Lucky PDF, the exhibition explores the search for a space for television separate from commercial and state interests. This show focuses particularly on illustrating the links between people, communities, content and the media.
